Go for it! I hope you get the funds you need. I think the trailer looks awesome. I love the freedom you appear to have cruising around the city like that.

Grats on the coverage thus far! RPS is going to be a big help I imagine. Have you tried reaching out to Polygon, Kotaku, and others? Even if they don't want to cover you just yet, making yourself familiar to those who've covered other Kickstarter campaigns certainly can't hurt.

Likewise, try reaching out to others who've successfully funded Kickstarter like the guys at Zojoi (Shadowgate) and, well, everyone else. I'm sure they'll be as helpful as one could imagine.

And hit that Twitter hard man. Remember to occasionally tweet bite-sized invitations to view your Kickstarter. Focus them differently and include a link. When me or someone else retweets them, our followers may not know jack about the game.

Can't wait man!
