Brasso Fixes game DVDs? Crazy.

I assumed it was some kind of internet hoax, like shows on YouTube that tell you how you can steal cable TV with a plastic fork and aluminum foil, but I figured I had nothing to lose...so I bought some Brasso, tried to rub out the scuffs with it...they never did totally come out (and I got some new scratches from rubbing)...and yet, my Rock Band 2 disc, which was practically unplayable, has not had a read error since!

GameCrazy stores have a buffing machine that removes scratches pretty well. I've used it on a number of occassions, especially with Oblivion and Rock Band. Those two games seem to get scratched a lot.
